Four years....
V. and I moved to New York four years ago today.  We each boarded separate flights and met up in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, both of us with a mix of excitement and anxiety.  We took the subway into “the city” and went to dinner at an old favorite, 7A.  We walked around and explored a little, but had to head back to our room because we were exhausted. I was given “the talk” today.  My final day will be on June 4th with a few extra weeks pay tacked on.  The company is actually going to be dissolved and all the assets liquidated within the next few months.  It was a horribly sad day, with many tears shed from almost everyone. All that being said, I have a job interview tomorrow. I’ve been keeping my family informed about...

Now on the job front….. I’ll probably be let go in early June, with a few months pay. AND I have an interview tomorrow. Cross your fingers and toes that it goes well.

Well, this is different...
I was just given the “okay” to start looking for new jobs.  I’ve never NOT had a job so this is very unsettling. So, if any NYC’rs know of any positions open, let me know.  I’m open to most things.  I’m an excellent assistant. :)
